Welcome to my Web Site
I like to share with you tips and shortcuts
I have found for flower arrangement, landscaping, cooking, home decor and
putting up with the, up to the bream, kitchen sink. The Kitchen Sink page
is a forum for you to enjoy gossip and lively short stories. If you feel
like making yourself a drink click to Grandmas Lounge. On the other
hand, if you feel down and out then, scoot to the Wings of a Prayer
page (don't forget to turn the volume up). The contents of that page
will give you a sense of peace and tranquility. Email me if you have
tips of your own you want to share. If you are a book-worm, or just
like to read and have a good sense of humor check author Mario Chavez' novel,
"The Kids on the Block."![]()
The Different Web Pages
The most visited web page in my web site is the Grandmas Lounge. This page if full of information from how to muddle to how to properly store wine. The page also contains many recipes for drinks that Grandma has tasted herself and thought it would be great to share them with the many visitors that visit her page. However, Grandmas Lounge is not only about storing wine, muddling, or making drinks. She also cautions the casual drinker by providing tested statistics on over-drinking. Pay her a visit, you'll be glad you did. The Kitchen Sink page is also interesting. It contains a imaginary kitchen sink which nobody cares if it is cleared or not. The Kitchen Sink page mainly contains "gossip" and lovely stories visitors might likely read and enjoy. If you have a story or "gossip" you want to share, don't hesitate to e-mail it to me and it will be posted on the famous Kitchen Sink page for all visitors to read. Oh, I forgot to mention not to send "tear-jerking" gossip or stories, only gossip or stories that will make visitors laugh. Humor makes one live life longer. You know that life is not always happy. Sometimes we might feel down and out. We would like to have someone close by to tell our problems to, and maybe even cry on their shoulder. The "Wings of a Prayer" page might help you get over your loneliness, unhappiness and just simply having a bad day.
Log in to the page and listen to the song; read the prayer that's there, and then just close your eyes and continue to focus and concentrate on the meaning of that prayer. Once you realize God is everywhere; that you can tell Him your problems and even cry on His shoulder, you will feel good, and relaxed and comfortable.
Whether you have a green-thumb or brown-thumb where nothing you plant grows, check out the "Greenthumb" page. It contains many tips on not only planting but how to get your lawnmower ready for summer. On the other hand, if you like to build your own home entertainig theater you will find that any many more tips in the "Homedecor" page.
"The Kids on the Block" Novel
- "The Kids on the Block" is a humorous gaze into 'The Rights-of-passage'
as Soapsuds and his unique friends make their way from adolescence to adulthood.
Though the banter is light-hearted, the author is not afraid to touch on
serious issues such as death, abuse, hunger, suicide, and other life's
struggles. I found "The Kids on the Block" to be a delightful, charming and
entertainment read!
-------Chrissy K. McVay, author of "Souls of the North Wind."
- There is something for everyone in "The Kids on the Block," an enjoyable story by author Mario C. Chavez. No matter what character you identify with the most, don't be surprised to find yourself lost in your own childhood memories. It is difficult not to laugh and cry as well while reading "The Kids on the Block." ---Ray LeCara Jr., author of "The Forgotten Prophecy."
